Monday 12.9.2011After short sleep and not working alarm clock I woke up at 9am. Went with Abbas to breakfast and I couldnt believe my eyes. It wasnt just breakfast. It was like food for whole day on one place pretending it is breakfast. I havent seen so many kinds of food on one place in my life. I just got cereals with juice and was happy.
We were sitting in some private table with curtains around (it felt like stripper is coming in every second) but had fun with Adriano and Paul. Then I introduced them the new iPhone App I found: Milk the Cow (you just have cow stripes and you are milking it to bucket). They are making jokes about it for whole day now. They dont understand real art:-/
After this all the guys was devided to different groups doing different PR programs: PWG with Andrew was doing morning show and interviews in local TV, Petike, Nam the Man and Kamalio went to school and did shows, Abass with Luki, Szymo and Michryc went to orphanage and took pictures while we had technical and organization meeting with F3 board (we were seting up system of performance, planning intros, solving out TV broadcast etc.) on the top floor with beautiful view on the whole city. It was 35 degrees outside and impossible to breathe so I prefered to stay inside and talk under air condition.
After this we just move ourselves to lobby to meet other local members of organization team. They are all nice people and it was great to speak to them. I basicly defended wishes and requests of players like no flashes during performance, same music for both battling competitors etc. We made huge piece of work today.
Straight after this we went to check out venue in Sunway Pyramid. Guys I have never seen most stylish shopping mall. Everything was made to fit to Egyptian style (pyramides, Sphinx, statues) and everything was just huge. You can check photos in my album on FB as I mentioned before. I was just speechless. This is gonna be massive.
We were waiting for car (I had to wait inside cause I really couldnt breathe outside) and then going back in rush hour. If you have ever thought you know what means "many cars" then you would realize you know nothing. It seemed like every single Malaysian has 4 cars and driving it in one time! We went back to hotel in traffic jam for more than one hour!!! At least I caught some sleep.
After waking up in front of the hotel I felt fresh and wanted to kick ball. In lobby I met Daniel and Palle who just arrived and we were checking female singers who were preparing their show together. Wasnt that bad :-p
Then we were devided to 3 groups and every group went to different futsal game to perform and do advertising. I went with Nam the Man and Palle to some spot which was like 10 minutes from hotel but driver has decided to give us a ride around the city. So we drove there 40 minutes (Palle was playing number games on Nams iPhone where he was supposed to touch numbers from 1 to 25 as fast as he can for 30 minutes) and after we arrived we just started. I have never felt so fresh and ready to freestyle before I started to sweat (20 seconds). Then it was fight for every piece of oxygen. But still I enjoyed freestyling as well with other Malaysian freestylers (they have Malaysian Champ before our world class) so I was surprised how many freestylers are actually here (around 80 maybe more). We did great session and we were heading back to hotel.
Arthur with his father (with really cool name Jesus Mansilla) has already been there so we met them and went to together meeting of all players.
I couldnt stop kicking the ball so I just had short session with Bevs and then Daniel Wood started to talk. He explained us plan for tommorow (meeting Prime minister, doing Demos with Helipad or other LPs) and gave us all Tshirts, money for our needs and drink package for every room. Steve Elias has joined us as well so we are kind of complete now with F3 board.
Meeting has ended and after I wasnt understood with my explanation (I basicly told them that with such a great level this tournament cant go wrong) we ended it. Kamalio played panna with Andrew, Michryc, Luki etc, Abbas, Charly and Andrew were doing handstands and me with Bevs had another session. Others left to their rooms or were sitting and watching to mirror.
Now I am heading to KFC to get some food today and then preparing for tommorow big day. Hope you all are enjoying reading this and if you have any questions just ask it here;)
