Ibrahimovic helped Milan to win the Scudetto last season with 14 goals, but Gattuso claims that a player of his class should be getting at least twice that number.

"Someone like Ibra in Italy should score 30 goals a season," Gattuso told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "For a player of his quality, he scores too little."

AC Milan won the Super Cup or whatever it's called.

Bayern lost it's first game... at home... to Monchengladbach.

Dortmund played a beautiful game against Hamburg and easily won 3-1.  Gotze is almost world class and Germany might just win the EURO 2012.  Spain Germany final for sure if they don't draw each other prior to that.

Apparently the start of la liga will be delayed by 2 weeks cause players have decided to strike. I dont really understand the reason though. Something about unpaid wages and small clubs in debt or something i dunno :017: I have not had much time to read about it yet.

Seems the economic trouble in Spain is even affecting football. I hope this is a false alarm like the planned strike for tv revenue distribution, cause i really missed la liga this summer.

Looking forward to Serie A returning too. Milan and Inter look good and even Juventus loos good with Vucenic and Pirlo etc

Barcelona vs Real Madrdi - 2nd leg this Wednesday of the Super Cup.

2-2 in the first game... very good game.  Looked much more than just a pre-season game.

Ibra threatened Guardiola

Former Barcelona striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic claimed he would beat up coach Pep Guardiola if he did not get a move to AC Milan, according to the club's corporate vice-president Carles Vilarrubi.
