yesterday tevez said he was "not mentally right" to play......and today he makes a u-turn and says he "never refused to play" and that it was a "misunderstanding" :017: He should explain himself better. Also, he was speaking through a translator so he cannot blame his lack of english, as he usually does.

I feel sorry for tevez though. These long-term contracts in football are very restricting at times. I do not want to pass judgement on the situation because so little information has been given........but at first glance, tevez really should be more professional.

Solid performance from bayern though. Schweinsteiger was man of the match for me :13:
forget Ronaldinho....only one deserves the -inho suffix......Jabarinho!!!!

Ribery and Schweini were the best for sure.  Gomez was deadly in front of goal as well.

Love my team right now!  Only Barcelona is better than us at this point.

Tevez is a twat and needs to GTFO.  I hope he rots on the reserves bench.

Guy is making up to 500,000 per week with bonuses and he bitches?  Fuck off!

Yeah, Bayern game will be good I hope.

Lyon won't be a stroll in the park. I can guarantee you that.

Will City stumble again?

Haha you got that one right.

Bayern 1:1 Napoli

Man City barely beat Vilarreal in the last minute. Wish they drew.  :(

Hala Madrid! :13: I did not see the match but i heard madrid dominated lyon from start to finish.

This is good revenge for the losses to lyon in previous seasons.

Also, Man city deserved the win. They dominated the match but just could not finish. Dzeko had a horrible game OMG  :wtf: everything he touched today turned to stone :embarrassed: He looked as though he was playing with steel toe boots.......he just could not control the ball

Bayern missed a penalty. Overall Bayern was a little better but 1:1 wasn't unfair. Second half was exciting.

Little sidenote: City's win against Villareal was their first win ever in CL.

City's struggles in the Champions League shows that experience is lacking for them.  There's a reason experienced teams do well regularly.  You need experience at that level no matter how good you are.

Dortmund is doing terrible because they're lacking the same experience.
