I don't think that kind of surface is very good for freestyle at it's highest level, because you have too much grip on it; when you jump from the ground for air combos, it's harder to detach from the ground, to lose touch so to say, because it's not a smooth surface but one with very small bumps (cause that's how the athletics running track is). I don't know why people from there say it's perfect, i don't think so, maybe not really bad either, but definately not the best.
and about the stage, it does give the whole thing a bigger impact and atmosphere, but as I think there aren't much spectators anyways, it doesn't have much diference for the competitors.
This entire world champs being held there on a stadium, doesn't seem a good idea, exactly because of the accesibility of the non freestylers spectators, last year that stage was in open space right, so that was better because people could see what's happening a lot easier and could have been atracted even if they didn't knew from before about the contest.
Great thing with the news about what's happening there, but I would have expected a lot more, i'm not refering to the organizers because they re pretty buzy i gues, but some other guys to do just this - film stuff, report stuff, and even interviews with competitors from teh middle of the whole thing would have been a awesome thing for those like me who stay at home and want to know what's happening there.
Crazy level of competition !!!
