i dont think lowers are boring to watch  ....but only lowers is .

Just like only uppers , only blocking or only sits would be weird at a competition. Its just a matter of ''there is something missing''
Do a bit of everything , its the most fun to watch in my  opinion.

This is just for you, because you are not a fan of lowers. For me most of sports are boring to watch, but it doesnt mean they are boring for other people. Allround battles can hardly be a real sport because they are just imposible for judgement. Lowers, sits and uppers are too different disciplines, they cant be even compared! For me football and handball have more similarities than lowers and uppers, for example.. If we want to have fair competition with fair judgement, we shouldnt mix different kinds of freestyle football but should have lower, sitting and upper competitions. The winner should be a person, who showed the hardest tricks with clean style, but not a guy who did "the best performance" just in judges opinions.
Im not against allround competitions, it looks very interesting to watch, of cource, but it should be competition like triatlon, for guys who practice all styles, and masters of one style should have their own competitions, like each kind of sports have - it would be fair. Thats my opinion:)
totally agree!
if u like a show go to circus!

And roots of freestyle are from...?

ARS
I am a fan of lowers (yea, seriously!), but I agree with you to some point.
Of course there might be organized some lower, sd competition, it won't be very popular though - what I mean is that crowd would find watching only lowers or uppers boring - that's sad I know, but unfortunately true.
Another thing is - the idea of dividing freestyle into "four different sports" is not so good for me(maybe except ground). I am a strong partisan of allround freestyle and my opinion is that more interesting is variety of combos/moves than difficulty of tricks(like amatw records etc.). I'm aware that you work hard and spend a lot of time to do these insane lower tricks and also that one style can be differentiated itself - although there are plenty of tricks which are mingle of 2 or more styles, so capacity would be limited.

If luki but to what I go it is that in the skate pro example or in other sports undergrounds, not this one done to do shows but for the difficulty of the tricks, your you can do showstyle but for lps for persons who do not know of freestyle, in the competitions it has to be allrounder a thing that I agree with you but not with tricks of basket freestyle or alone acrobatics you understand me? Your you are one of the best exponents about what I speak faeces very difficult things but that are of the frestyle football and not of another sport.
Freestyle una pasion!!!

I think that there should be a different kind of freestyle competition.. I don't know if you guys know what street league is (a skateboarding contest).. There are different rounds on different modules and every guy does his routine on that particular module and judges give them a score ! In freestyle we could have a contest where every freestyler does a 30 sec. round of lowers, than he gets a score! and it would be that way with every category.. by the end, the winner will be the guy with the best score ! like that, every freestyler could make lot of points in their strongest category!

any kind of competition is possible with the right kind of audience and good level of contestants :)
+1
I know we could hold an all lower competition no doubt,
sure, crowds can't relate to how difficult it is, but eatw combos still look crazy as fuck. You don't need to be able to relate to something to understand that is looks fucking awesome. Motocross is the same concept, we will never understand how difficult it is, but it still looks sick.
There's another that visits me on occasions, and people would rather watch his nt combos than anything else, it's appealing to the eyes.

Lower freestyle isn't as boring as we make it seem, if you can remember the first time you saw a rocco video that's the same experience a crowd would get. Mind = Blown.
BONER!

Who is actually organizing this? With help from who? For some reason I have a bad feeling that it'll fail on many levels because most freestyle competitions do. Still I'm positive in one way, mainly due to the money that they seem to be putting in. I'm excited to see how it all turns out.

No italians and russians? :wtf:
It's not a lower competition, sorry.
I agree, it would be strange if guys, who dont care about performances, were invited :) But for me, its unfair that allrounders have so great competitions, but there are no good competitions for lowerbody freestylers.. I think guys like Skora, Fx, Rocco, Mp, Akim, Mirko, Gunther, Domybd etc deserved it, so hope one day it will be:)
As far as I know, Skóra was invited. He couldn't come though.

Any idea why? His parents?

Fx blesses himself before a patw combo, Tiernan blesses himself before a neck to sole transition.... but hey thats next generation
I was going to be there...but now I'm not going to be there

Skóra wasnt let by parents. They think it is too far for his first flight.
And I am pretty sure this wont fail since a lot of afford is put to this from both sides: Freestylers and managers... I will guarantee it will be awesome competition...

I feel so sorry for him thinking about all the things he has missed out on due to their disapproval.

And I hope you're right!

omg, i dont believe this. one of the greatest freestylers ever has parents like this? worse than  harry potter and the dursleys. but makes skora more heroic for me now!
The nitrophosphate process (also known as the Odda process) was a method for the industrial production of nitrogen fertilizers invented by Erling Johnson in the city of Odda, Norway around 1927.
