best places for busking

 and no crazy people and no worries of police or something

here in mexico the most sure places to busk are in traffic-lights, if the stop sign last more then 50 seg is sure business

Chicago Union Station
-  Fridays at 5pm
- everyone's happy because it's the start of the weekend and are usually willing to throw out more cash
-  it's rush hour so everyone wants to get home and usually don't mind watching something appealing to the eyes (freestyle)
- Police are nice
- all this = good cash


Navy Pier
- Any Saturday.
- 11am-8pm
- Tourists
- Familys (little kids love it)
- Security there knows me
- all this = good money

I know it's a completely random thing to say but Birmingham is actually incredible for busking. I got like 125 pounds in an hour about last time I went and I always get quite a reasonable amount.

There's no other freestylers here so freestyle is a new concept/people have only seen you do it (unlike in Manchester from what I've heard) so it's very attention-grabbing. There aren't too many other buskers but there are enough that busking isn't completely alien to everyone so they do put money in. I just do it in the city centre in a reasonably big and reasonably busy place.

Hmmm maybe, but when i started busking in a city, just outside belfast, i used to make over 200 in 2 hours. Basically, if people havent seen it before, your relatively decent at fs, its a busy enough area, and you have loud music, you will do very well
