Help with AHMATW!
« on: May 25, 2011, 02:24: AM »
For some reason i can't seem to land this trick, my first leg goes over fine, but my last leg hits the side of the ball.

ANY TIPS?

I GUESS you do the ahmatw from your weak foot and end it with weak foot
so therefor you should probably get more stabile at the last rev, like you practice your wf
I pretty much struggled with this problem aswell, it helped me to practice my hmatw quit a lot
and when you get stabile enough at that you shall be able to pull of ahmatw
and you can always train your wf in other ways to make it stronger ( htw -atw -hatw-htw , kamatw , co amatw nt )
if this seem to not be your problem, it is your first hhtw which is to slow
you can make the ahmatw higher and you will have more time, and if lower much faster
you will figure out this on your own..
good luck!

I start the trick by hitting it off my strong foot because i feel i need my last foot ( my strong foot ) to be the quickest. Is this wrong?

No, do it the way you feel more comfortable. it's good to learn it both feet, but concentrate on one now.

imo you should focus on the fact, that you must use your muscles to bring your legs down as fast as you can after doing the revolutions, especially the first foot that goes around. that tip was useful for me when I was learning ahmatw.

Still trying to learn the trick, been trying it for about 3 weeks now..about 1 - 2hrs a day ..  :017:
It's now at the point where im getting the movement better, just my last leg needs to be slightly faster.
