Topic starter, how old are you? Tupac changed rap music, put meaning behind it, had white and black listeners, and his music is still fitting enough for today's hip hop radio, something you can't say about most rap back I'm those days.

yes, i dont think he sucks, hes not my favorite, but i thought it was strange when i first started watching freestyle that almost every video had tupac in it, thats what i thought was odd. sorry if it sounded like i was hating on him before

I also think that Tupac meant "rap" some years ago, especially in Europe.  People in the US stopped listening to Tupac a long time ago due to so many other good rappers being out, but in Europe many people didn't hear about these other rappers until a few years ago.  Tupac stayed current a lot longer in Europe than he did here.
