in my opinion the most "official" freestyle competition is Prague.
because its organized 100% by the community, for the community. and people only go if they love freestyle.. no fake bitches.
also, its the hardest one to win, imo harder than rbss..
Prague ftw! Lucaso is always gonna be a legend

i dont agree at all... top 16 in south africa got a SICK LEVEL... everyone seems to forget about this.. group stage is easier yes... but guys like Tokura didnt make top16! and that says something about the level...

group was also jugde by freestylers...

when that is said South africa was hard to predict cause the final jurie had just one freestyler...
But prague had 3 freestylers, 1 manager/agent and 1 footbager... I dont say they did a bad job i just say get ridd of it and get 5 freestylers in the jurie, or just use 3...

That makes no sense, there are loads of sports that are "official" (have governing bodies, national associations, etc.) and aren't part of the Olympics.

All the current, self-proclaimed "governing bodies", "federations" and "associations" are pure BS. They're just agencies in disguise, ran by agents with very little knowledge about freestyle football, using the name of the "federation" and their cute stories to promote their business and make a profit. They've never actually done anything for the scene and I highly doubt they ever will.

Until we take the initiative ourselves and make a real federation that will protect and work in our own interest, we will be in this chaotic situation where we don't have a clue where are we going and everyone just does whatever the fuck they want with our sport, while we stand there and just watch and later on bitch about it on Facebook and BF.

Ideally, this should be run by freestylers which are experienced, knowledgeable & influential, but the problem is that currently, most or even all of the freestylers that fit the description are either too busy or simply don't give a shit... :)

It's what you do that counts, but it's how you do it which separates you from the rest.
You can't have creativity unless you leave behind the bounded, the fixed, all the rules.

Good points all round. I understand your concerns.
Just want to clarify officially, that I am not an agent or manager for anyone... my marketing and events company (Streets United) gives anyone the chance to get work who are right for the job and this allows me to put time into F3 building the federation.
F3 was set up with the help of JK, Palle, Sean, Abbas, JF, Nam, Skora, Kamalio, Murilo, Yosuke and many more, so it's fair to say that it was done by the freestylers for the freestylers. More news will come soon. We're here solely to support the growth of freestyle.

I really hope to be working closely with IFFA guys too, to make this even stronger.
Regarding competitions... RBSS is fantastic for the sport and mass participation - it is true that right now this should be seen as the world championships. But Prague will be bigger and better this year - Lucaso is doing a top job!
