I don't see it much different for Shalke to beat United than it was for them to beat Inter. I thought they were underdogs in that match as well. I don't think United match up great for German teams. It will really depend on Shalke. United have become the masters of not really playing well themselves, but making other teams play really poorly and capitalizing on their errors. If Shalke play to their capabilities, I do not see it being a problem for them to advance. It will be difficult. I see it as this, if Shalke win, the games could be very entertaining, because it will mean Shalke are taking it to United, forcing them to try to play. If it's boring and I feel like sleeping during the game, United will squeak a tight scoreline. I'll be cheering for the first. Barca and Real are the real final for me. I'd be a little shocked if either of them lost in the final.
