Official Beyond Football Video Competition 2011
« on: Mar 27, 2011, 09:33: AM »
Remember back in the old days when we had the official beyondfootball comp?
Well... i say we bring this shit back.
im willing to organize. we need 3 judges. if you want to judge put your name forward ill choose the 3 who i think are most qualified.

if you want to participate also write your name here. we need at least 32 freestylers to enter otherwise its too little..

would be a qualification to select top 32, and then straight knockouts with about 2 weeks between each deadline.

im sure Adi could give the winner their own section on the homepage where you could promote your website/videos.. the main site gets a lot of hits trust me.

i am willing to send a red monta shinji freestyler matchball (BRAND NEW) to the winner also. because im a really nice guy and i think the scene isnt as lively as before and we need to pick it up again! so yeah, im willing to give a brand new monta ball for free to the winner (i know its not the best prize ever but its the best i can do)

maybe Adi can think of some other cool prize...

ok. so yeh... let me know guys
peace

Only suggestion I'm gonna make is that you don't use a 1v1 (knock-out) system, but rather simply have the judges pick the best videos in each round. This way, you'll have a better chance of having the best freestylers in the final stages.

It's what you do that counts, but it's how you do it which separates you from the rest.
You can't have creativity unless you leave behind the bounded, the fixed, all the rules.

Thats a good idea and I agree... but the problem is that it might be not as fun as a knock-out-system and that the interest for the competition from other ppl will be lower.
