Fast legs/style = fastrunner?
« on: Mar 25, 2011, 03:36: AM »
I was actually wondering something..
If your style actually shows if you are able to run fast or not?

I mean my combos are really fast and my style is pretty fast.. But at the same time I am a fastrunner on the field as well.
I was just wondering if people with slow styles are slowrunners?

I hope you get what I mean..

I don't think it hardly has anything to do with it.

It feels to me when I run I use different muscles than when I freestyle. Many muscles are perhaps the same but if I've been running alot one day i'll feel it in my legs the next day while if i freestyle it hurts in a different part of my leg or it hardly hurts at all depending on how much i practised the previous day.

everyone either has fast twitch fibres/slow twitch fibres in the muscles.. if your a fast runner you obviously have more fast twitch fibres, meaning you'll be able to move your leg muscles quicker, so i suppose when your freestyling & if you have lots of fast twitch fibres, i guess you could say you could get your leg around the ball quicker then other freestylers who don't have as many fast twitch fibres.

meh, just a thought.

Nope. My style is slow and heavy where as I love sprinting.

@ShaneW that's wrong. In freestyle fast/slow twitch muscle fibres will relate to a freestylers power vs endurance rather than speed. Think about it logically, running fast is majority technique mixed with sufficient leg speed. Freestyle is to do with circumduction of the hip.

Exactly !! I thought about FX, when I wrote this! I style is so fast and could only see him as a fastrunner.

Brizze, stop lying to yourself. You don't have a fast style and you're not fast on the pitch at all, you have 10's for acceleration and pace on FM 2011, FFS!

Just drop it and go play some FM...
