freestyle football movie? is it possible?

hey guys, i was just wonderin', you know, they have lots of movies based on sports like football, basketball, baseball etc. they even have a movie for dancing e.g step-up.

so is making a movie for freestyle football a plausible idea? who knows maybe one day, someone creative will make it to be an interesting story on the big screens!

what do you guys think? and if it plausible, who do you think the actors would be ;]?

If Hollywood is going to do a movie like this now, I bet Billy Wingrove and Jeremy Lynch will definitely get involve. May be it'll become a story when a boy who never gets involve in anything in his life takes up freestyle with the instructions of Billy and the Jeremy the "masters" and then go into a competition and defeat some real freestylers (which are hired for the side roles), which will suck.
So let's keep that idea for when we actually have men who can represent the freestyle scene the best gets into focus.

I don't think there will be movies with an imagined story or something like that, however I can think of films like the one Red Bull did from BC One, with background of the bboys etc. It's called "Turn It Loose" for any interested, you should definitely check it out.

I don't think Red Bull did that movie, actually I'm pretty sure of it. It was just their event. The same as Planet Bboy and BOTY. And something like that has already been made with Séan and RBSS 2010, it's called "Séan - the other face of football".

In the Hands of the Gods is a documentary kind of thing though and Step Up and things like that are completely different so a freestyle movie is yet to made but hopefully it won't be too long until someone decides to try it.

we dont need hollywood.. Sven or Thomas could make a great movie if they wanted to and we had some actors.. i propose we make a movie at Amsterdam or Prague!! we can have some actors and a storyline

you can make an emotional movie out of it. a good fser challenges the main fser to do apmatw or some crazy move, then he breaks his knee and thinks of giving up. then kate or another fs chick comes along, trains with the dude, romance shit, and then he is encouraged to come back to fs and win rbss with an APMATW against the guy who challenged him!!!!

Brilliant! A tad cliche and the story has been done a number of times but that just means it works. You be the director ;D
