Ethan, I know exactly what you are speaking about! And it's really good explained!
I've actually think about this really much. The problem with me is that I don't got the high level to do it on really...
I think I need to learn amatw with weak first before I try tatw-amatw nt if you know what I mean!
but a really good post from you ethan!
good thinking, i would be surprised if you were trying to do it without being able to do amatw weak foot

well learning tatw-amatw starting with weak foot is way easier

if you want to learn tatw-amatw from strong (which is a very good thing to learn btw - very beneficial for nt in future) - you don't just need to learn amatw weak first like you think - you gotta have at least a record of 3 amatws, also latw weak foot for speed and control (and know and be able to do other things too)
unless you want to do it once on camera - show it to your bf friends and be happy

knowledge plays a big role too, so does mental approach

p.s. it is strange that so many people start practicing nt, before they master the very basics and get consistent at 25-30 trick combos
i know why - it requires a lot of work
no matter how often you guys say how much you love fs, deep in you head you don't want to sweat your ass off - but hope for some miracle or whatever

hehe thanks for that help! :D

when you talk about the brain and the leg movements, it's called muscle memory which exists in every sport pretty much. nice topic :sign0098:

no i am not talking about muscle memory - in fact quit the opposite. i am talking about forcing your legs to do the movement you want rather than using muscle memory which will not work when you are first learning a trick.

I've experienced that if you try to think on an another technique when doing a trick, it can be much easier to attempt. For example when doing beck atw, the trick will be mucher better when thinking that the first hatw should be high and strong. If you try for example latw or alatw and always hit the foot under the ball almost, but you lose the ball every attempt, it can be better if trying to think different when trying the trick.

Very good topic btw, Ethan :)
