Focus on a spot in front of you, don`t take your eyes off it, just keep concentrating on it all the time. Once you get the right feel for the ball and focusing on the spot in front of you, its just a question of practice. It took me quite a while to learn too, but just stick to it.

the best way to train is when you're watching tv, that's how i did it :D you can watch tv while you instinctively place the ball on your head to try and balance. do it everyday and you will get it eventually :)

Stop asking questions and go practice it :embarrassed:

you will know how it goes after you try it out. You will find it less stressful/boring/frustrating to practise top headstall when you can watch tv as well!  :great:

hello! i am very good at top headstall and i love it. i have spent a lot of time to learn it well (more and more than 2 weeks). for me, the better thing to do, is practicing in front of a mirror; focus on the ball and try to control it. when you have learnt a bit, try to control the ball watching in an other point(like your eyes). then try without mirror.  ps: try every day
