Lacoste is damn expensive. It's like Abercrombie & Fitch.
but its better and nicer quality so id rather have 1 awesome shirt over 3 ok shirts
lacoste for ze win
Quality... The quality of the lacoste shirts arn't any better than any other shirts, nor are they more awesome. Having multiple shirts eludes the problem of the getting bored of them so quickly
Quality... are you planning on keeping the shirts for years?
My wardrobe is stuffed with shirts most from blueprint and jeans from both levi's and nudie. I dunno if you've heard about blueprint, I believe it's quite new, correct me if I'm wrong, but their clothing is just awesome.
Do you have any Lacoste shirts? If not please exit from this conversation because you obviously dont realize that Lacoste shirts are much nicer than A&E, abercrombie&fitch, etc,etc
What does planning on having shirts for multiple years mean anything? A family friend of mine who owns a boat and 3 apartments (thoughout Croatia) showed me a lacoste shirt that hes had for 8 years and its looks like he jsut bought it. Trying keeping a shirt for even 5+ years while consistently wearing it and see what happens to the fabric, texture, and colour
quote that :booty:
Yes, I both had and have lacoste shirts, eventhough I at the moment don't think they are worth the money. Lacoste shirts are not anything special compared to levi's clothing, Fred Perry, etc., etc. They are just over-priced.
Clothes arn't meant to be worn everyday for the rest of your life. 2-3 years is enough and then you never want to wear that shirt again. Only sad sacks keep their shirts 8 years.
My fred perry shirt, which I wore 2-3 years and which my brother picked up to wear additional 2 years is still quality. It's NOT destroyed nor miscoloured in any way.
Lacoste IS NOT the king of quality. Jeez, did you really think they put the price up so bad just for the quality? They do not.
The over-prising is just a way to make you people get a bigger "what a nice shirt"-feeling. If the lacoste shirts wern't as expensive as they now are, you wouldn't think they are that luxurious.
