Let's think of the next YouTube, MySpace, etc.

OK, so... I want to become a millionaire. I'm just an idea short of it.

Let's talk about what could be the next big website idea. Most of these concept are very common sense, so let's work on it. It may sound stupid to share a great idea, but I highly doubt anyone has a concrete plan for anything right now. I say we mix our ideas and see if we can come up with something. I got a few coders who I'm willing to invest in as long as the idea is there.

No to social networking because it's already been done and mastered unless you can think of a brilliant way to spin it off.

A site for sports video seems like an OK idea but I doubt we can make it work. When sites like Beyond Football, who are completely dedicated to one niche, don't seem to work against competition from YouTube I doubt a even broader category (sports) would be able to compete.

A good one would be a file-sharing site, or a downloading site, such as rapidshare or something, they get so many views.

Beyond Football doesn't work
With some changes it could, add a player like youtube/vimeo
add a search function
download freestyle videos/ ask someone to do it/ and upload

Most of them are "get fucked in the ass by tv rights" sites.

I don't know.  I don't think anyone has any decent ideas off of the top of the head.

Any of you wish you had something else with your computer?  What is something that you have to do off-line that you wish you could do on your computer? etc.?

I'd say a site where you can go on and learn any language that you want for free. Some sort of site with extensive language learning tools....Language learning softwares are expensive...I don't know, kind of stupid..
