How come the one in the US was shit? What was it even like?

I could definitely imagine this being the case, when you look at how much other (bigger) events and projects they have in other areas (sports) and of course, the number of sponsored athletes they have in other disciplines.
Certainly they prioritize sports like BMX, Skate, etc. over freestyle football, those are much much bigger and stronger scenes and thus a much more appealing market.
What was it like I wouldn't know, you'd have to get first hand feedback from the US freestylers, but I guess you can check out some YT footage and pictures on FB.
