sooo...I think this would be interesting since we have alot of experienced players here (I'm looking at you Adi). I myself am an adherent to the style of play introduced bu Cruyff called Total Football (you might have guessed) where evryone plays at virtually every position, covering for each other and stuff, so that the game becomes very elastic. I hate the Catenaccio.

no because it just allows the defence to support the offense and make overlapping rune, and the offence to drop back and play defence after a defender has made a run or taken the ball up himself

catenaccio man here, I see    yeah...small runs and short passes cant be stopped every time.

personally i like a 4-3-1-2 where the two strikers in the front are fast and technical, the 1 person is like a attacking midfielder (gives passes close to the goal or shoots from distance) the 3 are players that help defending and also build the attack (i dont know how to say that exactly in english) they give distance passes to the persons in the front at the right moment so they have much space or they start a combination (1-2-tje in dutch) with the attacking midfielder and help him. the 4 remainder 4 are defenders. when the opponent is easy one or two of them can move on to the 3 before them to keep the pressure on the other half

this is how i would like to see football. i really think it can work properly if you know who to place where

for your stategy o would play wing football in a 4-3-3 formation. i would use fast wingers and a good cherry picker or finisher like van nistelrooy in the middle. for the midfield i would have two on each side supporting the strickers and a defensive midfielder in the middle stopping your attacking midfielder from making any passes. the defender know there jobs.

I'm a 4-3-3 man myself....I like the two wingers, 1 striker, 1 centre mid, 2 outside mid formation because it allows for triangulation at the midfield all the way up to where the striker is. This means that the mids can control the ball and control the midfield, and then they have 3 options: long ball to striker, or thruballs to the wingers. Either way, once they get the ball to the forwards, there is triangulation near the 18 between the wingers and the striker, and the wingers and the mids.
