Once upon a time, the UK freestyle scene was in the dumps. Tom Folan had not made a video in 11 months, Jak was injured, Oli hayes was too busy chilling with Tinie Tempah and Macca was busy with learn2freestyle. Then, out of nowhere, came some support! His name was Robbie Ellis! Robbie was 46 years old and had 76 friends on facebook, 75 of which were freestylers, the other was his mother. He insisted he was going to support each and every one of us.
Robbie hugely helped us, he commented on all of our facebook statuses, constantly assuring us he was our 'bro' and giving us more kisses than our parents ever had. All our dreams had come true.
Then, one day, it suddenly clicked in Ethan's mind, why was this 46 year old man commenting on all of our facebook statuses? Ethan felt that it was wrong for a 46 year old man to leave comments such as 'don't worry bro, we all have bad days ;) x' on Oliver Harflett's facebook status (Oliver is just 10 years old). At this point, Ethan began a huge argument with Robbie, gently hinting that he felt Robbie was a pedophile. Robbie tried to steer away from such arguments as he did not want any of the other UK freestylers getting such ideas into their heads.
For some weeks, it was eased. Robbie did not comment on so many statuses. However, on the 23rd October 2010, he returned!
All through the next week he commented on every freestylers status, leaving words of 'support' and making sure he did not leave out the word 'bro' or the letter 'x' in every post.
Then, on the 31st October 2010, Ethan had had enough! All the UK freestylers had agreed he was a pedophile and no longer wanted him to comment on their statuses, and so the following argument followed:

There's really no need to be fair.
I'm not insulting to u, infact quite the reverse n happily talked u up for ur freestyling so please do urself a favour n keep ur negative feelings to urself. Its a real shame as I had nothing but respect for u as a fs'er n a person :/ x

Robbie Ellis: Ethan unless u know facts about who I support u have no place to comment. I find ur comments sad as u don't know me, the things I've done in sport nor the people I've supported/sponsored over the past few years. Of course u are entitled to an opinion but I'm afraid its wide of the mark. If u feel jealous that I am helping some fs'ers but not urself, then I think the answers lies in the way u r conducting urself n the language u are happy to use.

N i've always signed off messages that way to ANYONE on fb so u need to get back to reality n concentrate on what u do best young man as I don't take kindly to immature ppl who think they are in a position to dictate to others how to run their business or what they can or cannot write to others lol! Incase u wondered why I didn't offer to help u out it is purely because I'm a good reader of people n u are too much about urself rather than the sport as a whole I'm afraid! Patrick Edwards: Trying to make out that Ethan's jealous just won't work, maybe I havn't heard anything but you don't seem to have anything of being jealous of. Putting comments on people's statuses you don't know and have nothing to do with is a bit weird and can easily (as it has been shown) be interpreted as something really weird (whether that interpretation is right or wrong, the fact of the matter is that there is no sense to it whatsoever).
Also, the whole bruv thing is just stupid, maybe the Essex teenagers say that but at the age of 40, some people would say you're hanging onto your youth.

Tom Folan: Robbie, I've never had anything to do with you but you are in no position to be making these incongruous false accusations about Ethan. You say how you're trying to offer support but at the end of the day what have you done? Ethan is one of if not the most enthusiastic, titillated and exuberant UK freestylers when it comes to promoting and organising meets so how dare you tell him that he needs to change his attitude! In addition he is about as knowledgeable as its possible to be when it comes freestyle and globally respected as one of the most expeditious improving freestylers, so quite frankly, what has he got to be jealous about?
I agree completely with Patrick when it comes to the paedophilia subject. When I first started freestyle at the age of 12 my mum found it exceedingly bizarre and rather worrying that 17 to 18 year olds were commenting on my videos. You are in your 40s(at least) and commenting on 10 year olds statuses with wink smileys and kisses. Don't know about you but if I was a parent and saw such messages, not sure I'd be too happy about it.
I hope you can understand where we as freestylers are coming from in this matter. I suggest that this evening you take a nice evening stroll to clear your head. Also, it being Halloween, there should be a large amount of unsuspecting fresh blood toddling around the street with no parents for protection, so seize the convenience!
