Past their prime.
« on: Oct 28, 2010, 05:49: AM »
Do you think there are any freestylers who did really good, but now they are past their prime?
The nitrophosphate process (also known as the Odda process) was a method for the industrial production of nitrogen fertilizers invented by Erling Johnson in the city of Odda, Norway around 1927.

there are some freestyler who practiced something special and quited doing it
for example, i´m pretty sure skora can´t do 5 magellans anymore
and before he was injured, szymo had been pretty good a nts, but he said he doesn´t do them anymore (after the injury)

I think, apart from the freestylers that have quit, everyone has improved and I don't think there's an age where you 'peak'.

if freestyler are past their prime, it can have 3 reasons
1. injury
2. they quited freestyle
3. they don´t practice it as much as before

what makes you so sure skora can't do 5 magellans anymore?  :017:

IMO, like patrick said, unless you give up fs or lose interest, you'll keep improving.
Abdullah amsterdam looks like he's still improving even at his age. his later lps are better than those 2004 or whatever lps

because skora can do so many tricks, and imo there is really no time to practice ALL things he has already done
but ur right, i can´t be 100 % sure...

And you are wrong again.

Bitte versuch jetz nich wieder was dagegen zu sagen.

i don't think you can really talk about it in terms of level...

you can talk about in terms of the type of freestyler...i think the prime for people like billy, jeremy etc is over, and people are taking notice of who the real freestylers are.

Anybody who has got worse is because they have had an injury or/and dedicate their training to something else. for example, i would szymo's lower level is lower than what it was 1 year ago (correct me if i'm wrong) due to an injury and therefore he trained other stuff and has hugely improved in sit and upper...
