All kidding aside, the Spurs will only be as good as they allow themselves to. Look at them now, they have had this talent for a while but have been very inconsitent. I think Louis Fabiano will end up moving to White Heart, and then things will get interesting.

Tottenham plays great on paper. :thumbsup:

They have some talent and with the right purchases this summer, they could do very well... but guess what, they probably won't do anything again. If you think about it, they won't beat out Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool for a Champions League spot.

Every year we say how Tottenham will do well, yet they continue to dissappoint us. Just look at the latest results. They beat a very good team and then go on to lose two games by 4-1 margins. That's simply unacceptable. Berbatov is a problem for this team as well. Even though he's talented, you can tell that he just wants to get the hell out of there. His attitude and the way he gives the ball away in dangerous positions just shows what he thinks.

They have the talent, but like I said, only on paper. They don't perform on a consistent basis to be in the top 4 next season. Even if they sign some players, they still won't be on par with the other four teams.

Spurs are a great team it wouldn't be a surpise if they do challenge for the title its been a long time coming plus that Hara kid is a gun with him Huddelstone, Jenas and Lenon its not going to be long before they do they got talent and young one but what they lack is dept if one gets injuryd they have no equal replacements plus i expect Everton to step up their game along with Man City and Pompey it'll be a hot season the in the 08/09 season hopefully the promoted teams will learn a lesson from Derbys proformance and sign some big guns and have stable teams

There is no way Tottenham will get in the top four by 09. The only way it may happen is if Wenger leaves Arsenal or Liverpool employ Glenn Roeder after Benitez. Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool will be the top four for the next 5 years at least

tottenham are to inconsistant, they wont get top 4, no team will break into the top 4 for many seasons, watch out for newcastle next season they have a real shot at 5th  :thumbsup:
