yeah, I guess I agree...but as an all around player, he has never been that great. His crosses are the redeeming factor because they create so many chances and they really change the game.

i cant believe we lost, DAMN!!! that wasent a penalty from my point of view, its not like James went out of his way to knock Anelka over, Anelka just tripped over James body, and i dont see how that can be a penalty, but i got said in my first post on this thread that Ribery was going to score france,s only goal in the first half, and he did!  :rockit:

no man, because you have to think about intentionality, if i have the ball and im running, and then i go and trip over you then thats not a fault, james was just triyng to get the ball, and he diddent even move, anelka could have jumped over him if he would have wanted to

but i think intentionality is what matters, because its like with Hand-balls, what matters is the intentionality of the hand-ball, and james had no intention of stoping Anelka, he was just going after the ball, and anelka moved the ball away from him in the last seccond, and thats means that he himself had a chance of doing a Recutt to leave James to dead and score, but he decided to go for the penalty

He's just too much to handle. Thank God Bayern has him! Ribery is the new Zidane for French football.

A team that finished 2nd in the World Cup to just a re-developing team.

Give England credit.
