The muscles that are used must be weak. Train freestyle and you're fitness for freestyle will go up.

-Don't break combos.
-Don't use crossovers to save combos.
-If you're a new freestyler looking to improve, check the stickys in the help and advice section.

1.  Hydrate yourself.  A lot.
2.  Do cardiovascular exercise, like running, biking, or swimming.
3.  Have a healthy, balanced diet.  Keep junk food to a minimum.
4.  Load up on carbohydrates before training.
5.  Get plenty of rest, both at night and during your training sessions.
6.  Be the ball.

I don't get how you guys can even think of training without water  :) It's a must, I would've been mega thirsty after like 30 minutes of training.

Gkikkas' tips are really good. They're correct and you should all follow them.

Although you may be fit in running and whatever, doesn't mean you will be in freestyle.

E.g I'm pretty fit in terms of distance-running and stuff but in terms of swimming I'm pretty bad.

Therefore, if I wanted to be better at swimming, I'd (obviously) have to swim to get my fitness in water better.

You may be a good runner but that doesn't mean your 'freestyle fitness' is great. All you can do is train the same way and eat better as Gkikas said.
