I don't mean to come here bashing any English people on her or offending themm...BUT..

After comments made by Harry Rednapp about Capello and Peter Crouches comments about ALL NON-ENGLISH PLAYERS, really, who the fuck do the English think they are in soccer? It is really starting to piss me off. If you don't know what they said, Rednapp pretty much said that he's the greatest manager ever and England is too good for foreign managers, and Crouch said that all foreign players dive and that if you tackle Frank Lampard, Carragher, or Gerrard, they will stand like they are made of steel. Fucking bitches. :cursing:

redknapp is a class manager, i doubt he said he was the best, you have a point, we dont like foriegn players for some reason but we buy them and have them in our league, i was all ready to take offence to your post, but i kind of agree with you.

I mean, i respect the fact that English want to keep it a National thing, which does make sense, a lot of sense. But what has England been accomplishing, seriously? Think about it. Nothing. SO it is time for something new, without a doubt, it is time for changes. Personel, players, whatever...it is just time for changes.

I dont understand all the people who really care about english football, basically all of us fans are upeset about whats going on atm, i really dont think capello is the man for us and it pisses me off when we give him a huge wage and he hasnt proved shit yet, he should earn is wage before he recieves it. And the change should be in the F.A look at all the people on the board, too old, i suggest bringing in younger people who see the game from a different aspect and maybe even some foriegners to assist us.

The one thing i will agree with, is that the manager should at least be somewhat fluent in the native language. I doubt Capello can learn sufficient English in one month, though he might be using Rosetta Stone. That is kind of akward to me...communication is very important in the game.

It fucks me off that he cant speak english, our players need passion and we have lacked it badly, his job is to give our team some spirit and will to win, speaking english might help with that? This is what i mean by the F.A, wrong people are controlling our national game and it annoys me.

Yeah i mean i completely agree with this part. However, I also think that appointing a foreign manager is worth the risk, though one that speaks English like Mourinho, or Klinsmann. But, give Capello time and i think it will be a good move.

yeah i have nothing wrong with capello, although it sounds it, infact i have nothing wrong with a foriegn manager at all. As long as they can speak english, what im trying to say is if anyone is going to get slated about our game it should start at the very top, not the groundsmen (if you get me?)

ive seen plenty of prem players diving and some really harsh tackles from gerrard, lampoard and crouch as we seen on mikel against chelsea.

i agree thats with what elite is saying, i would rather see a great foreign manager accomplish something with england instead of having some pompus twat (mcclaren) manage a team thats easily capable of competeing for the world cup finals and the euro finals. capello has plenty of time there wont be a major cup now till the world cup. i like arsenals style of play its great team work but i would rather see AC Milan beat them in the CL  :biggrin:

#1) Rednapp is throwing a fit because he got his job taken by a foreigner. It's almost like the Americans here that complain about foreigners taking their jobs when in fact the Americans don't even want to do those lousy jobs.

#2) Crouch is bitching because he tried to take a player down this week and failed terribly. Instead he looked like a fool.
