Inception - What a movie!

Anyone else seen it?  Easily the best movie I've seen since Avatar and Batman.

Agreed... phenomenal movie.  It was amazing, and the more I think about it after the fact, the more I like it.

Royal Freakiness -- why?  Because if you waited to see Avatar on Bluray, then you didn't really see Avatar.

Dawwid -- it's about a group of criminals who can enter peoples' dreams and steal their ideas, but in this case, they aim to plant an idea in someone's mind (inception), but to make it even trickier, they go three layers deep... a dream within a dream within a dream.  Mindfuck good and proper.

Bottom line:  go see it.  And then, quite possibly, see it again because one viewing likely isn't enough.

It has a more complex and enthralling setup than Law Abiding Citizen, because of the structure of the movie I'd compare it to Adobe Photoshop's "Layers" palette. If you're familiar with Lucid Dreaming, the movie will make a hell of a lot more sense to you. Once you watch the movie, or even if you don't, read about LD and start trying to gain consciousness in your dreams, fuck your excuse you're thinking of. Inception can be described as a: Law Abiding Citizen x Catch Me If You Can x Matrix. Worth a viewing, but when I gotta pay $10 a ticket, I'm buying the large popcorn with free refill for $8, and throwing all that shit on the floor when the credits roll. Go check the movie out.

Avatar was shit, a complete ripoff of Dances With Wolves
I enjoyed Batman, but it was no masterpiece, just well-acted and exciting

Inception was better than Avatar, worse than Batman
Plot-line was interesting, if only because it took the overused, dusty 'what if our consciousness is someone else's dream?' idea and made it kind of exciting with guns and oneliners and shit. Acting and script were both pretty terrible though, the screenwriters couldn't write their way out of a paper bag, dialogue was contrived, I didn't believe half of what the characters were saying because it was so wooden.

Now that I've got that off my chest, time to go watch freestyle videos.
