yeah its kind of sad.  He played so well in the Euro and I thought he was for sure going to Arsenal.  Seems like their style of player.

BTW that Giovinco guy looks very promising.  Would be good for Arsenal to get him, but they do need some players with experience.  I think he could come on as a sub as of right now, but he's not ready to start for them

Tottenham doesn't need him. They added Dos Santos and Modric to their already solid midfield. It's not necessary to get him. Instead, they should be looking to spend the money on a very good defender. Their defense will be the difference between a top 5 and mid table finish.

If Arsenal could get Alonso that would be immense. He'd give them the necessary experience and would work well with Fabregas in the middle.
