I think the reason JK did that just because the audience like this kind of thing. Soccershowdown, Palle, Nam... everybody does that nowadays.
And you should think more about the sports future, and less about what the other freestyler does for money and fame...
Playing is the best thing that keep the audience involve in my opinion. Nothing is wrong with that man, just good and fun playing. The future of freestyle can't be destroyed because of that.
Still, if someone, like you for example, can find a better way to do it, then it's great by me, because i can't play football xD.
