how? you do know that we beat them 2-0 in feb, right?
yes
USA = 1 win
Mexico= 2 wins
i love math
But honestly a team that beats Spain in a tournament earlier this year 2-0 loses this game. but then again they were lucky to even get out of the group stage.

mexico has only beaten the usa 4 times since the year 2000. thats how dominant they are. i couldn't find the updated numbers for usa wins, but in 2007 we had 7, so i would say its close to 10 or 11 victories.  gold cup USA C team vs Mexco mix of A and B team(many of the players from the gold cup final played in azteca too.)  qualifiers this year usa leads 3-2 on aggregate. mexico is an inferior country to usa in soccer, and that will continue. a win at azteca always has to be taken with a grain of salt, because the many outside factors not related to actual football.  its just like win ecuador beats brasil in quito or when bolivia won 6-2 in la paz.  i still insist that nery castillo should have been sent off, and that would have changed the game. i admit to mexico outplaying us in the second half of the gold cup final and the majority of the azteca game, but i remind you we were extremely dominant against mexico in the game in columbus which we didn't have the extreme outside influences to cause more home field advantage other than location.
No man this is not history!  you are bad saying that Mexico is an inferior to USA, football is not history is reallity! Mexico 5-0 USA CHampion of Gold Cup, and 2-1 in the last game,,, and if you says history and estadistics. Mexico wins too,, Mexico has more wins than USA IN MATCHES of both teams, and Mexico has won the gold cup 4 times and Usa 3 times, i dont remember well, but mEXICO 1 MORE,,Mexico won
World cup sub 17 and 1 fifa cofederations cup i think Mexico actually  its better than USA, AND in history too

living in the past would be a mexican fan saying they have a better record than usa. the present is what i'm referring to. usa is definitely a better team right now.  the gold cup result was just a freak result against a far understrength usa team. than we are just winning the home legs of each game. i know it kills you to hear this, but usa is a better team than mexico currently. it was proven last qualifying by us winning the group. usa is still ahead of mexico in qualifying standings. we have had a by far better recent record, and this will continue. chances are is next time we play, it will be the same as recent history. usa will win. if the present for you is just the very last game, you've had and you will have some really tough times in this argument. usa played like 8 games against mexico without losing.

p.s. mexico is a shithole of a country. why do you think all of yall wanna live here anyways.  the only thing you're better than us at now is speaking spanish even if your spanish is garbage.  i admitted the usa was outplayed in the two games, but if you cannot admit that mexico sent a much closer to an A side to gold cup and azteca is an unreal home field advantage in comparison, you are a fucking idiot. good night and good bye. do not reply to this, because you are stupid.

Jason, you are wrong :(.
As a USA supporter, and Mexico supporter, i admit Mexico has a better team currently. Yes in columbus they won, do to shitty conditions of weather. USA unstrenghted in the gold cup huh? But Mexico also didn't take the A team out there neither. Perhaps USA did go to the FINAL of confederations, that does not make them superior than Mexico. USA has currently played well all past games, but when USA plays Mexico in the US, USA is going to win. Mexico playing in Mexico, mexico is going to win. Forget about the past, that's ancient history. USA has improved rapidly on soccer, witch is awesome. Mexico has an Ok background on soccer,  but mexico is not inferior than the USA currently.

sorry alex, but they very much are. look at the lineups from the last two games. 2 players in the gold cup for usa played in azteca: ching and holden. mexico had almost half their team in both games. mexico's team wasn't full strength in gold cup, but it was much closer to full strength than ours.  we are above mexico in both fifa rankings and qualifying standings. believe me, if you analyze both the teams without biased the usa is better. i know i'm biased for the usa, but the only way you could argue that mexico is a better team is to be biased for them. also, usa have played their toughest games in qualifying now, so they will probably win the group.  they have played in both costa rica and mexico. those are the only games that one may expect usa to lose. mexico very likely will lose in the chaotic atmosphere of costa rica.  there isn't much i've seen of mexico to make them the better overall team. on the day maybe, but overall absolutely not. neither game was mexico completely dominant.  gold cup the usa was better up to the penalty call. the penalty was bullshit to begin with, and that changed the game.  in azteca, mexico was slightly better the usa, but never seemed dominant. its normal for an away team to be less aggressive. it took a late goal for mexico to win, because they didn't overwhelm us. we made a defensive error allowing the player to dribble past and that was the difference. remember these are basically the same teams that played in columbus in february. there is no way you could say we have gotten worse or mexico has got better since then. usa was genuinely dominant against them there. we don't even need to have an extreme climate. it was not cold that night, and the fans were probably pro-mexico as usual even in the usa.  mexico is shit, and i really hope that honduras and costa rica can keep their form. forcing mexico to a playoff with south america would be hilarious.

But when it comes to Mexico playing South American teams, they have done well.
Mexico has been coming from playing bad games, but beating USA twice, 5-0 at USA HOME, and 2-1 in Mexico. Does tell something.
If USA wanted to look superior than mexico, than USA should of brought the A team to gold cup, nobody said they couldn't.
Another thing, Mexico did have half of the gold cup team in there, witch isn't mexico's A team, but even then Mexico won this past game.
We can continue this argument, but USA and Mexico have both played wonderful expectacular games, in witch can be a controversy

they had an a/b team. we had a c team. take a look at the rosters. how many people from the gold cup final were on the confederations cup roster? i don't know why a game in which we fielded maybe 2 players that will even come close to the world cup roster can reflect poorly on our first choice team

we had just played in the fucking confederations cup. so, you're telling me that we should take our first choice players the summer before a wc and play them the entire fucking summer?

The USA roster for the Azteca game against mexico was equivalent to the confederation roster. That USA team played a well tournament, in witch lost in the final. With a roster like that, they almost beat brazil, "ALMOST". So saying USA has a better team than mexico by playing a good tournament, is kinda unfair. Mexico had a "B" team in the gold cup, US had a B/C team. Both teams are good. Im not saying anything but that Mexico is not inferior than USA soccer at all.

And to mr.i think i can bodybuild

i'm sorry? body building is for faggots who need a boost in self esteem because they aren't really strong so they take loads of supplements to help them try to build muscle, but they forget to build strength along with it :lol:

Quote
Honduras beat Mexico 3-1 not 3-0. That speaks enough about you...

to actually correct me about being a goal off is actually pathetic. you're forgetting the part that mexico actually got thier asses handed to them in that game mother fucker.

I live in the present not the past. Mexico just won two in a row...face it USA is dissapointing right now

i won't disagree that USA is dissapointing. but i'm glad to see you out from under your rock from all the other times that USA beats the shit out of Mexico.

 two wins, and where are you standing? In 4th place with a Gold Cup. hahahahahahaha

By calling me a motherfucker in the first post of getting the score wrong means you were very eager to attack me but u were ignorant and wanted to shove that big 3-0 in my face. well it was 3-1 and if a goal doesnt matter than that 2-1 victory by Mexico is more like 2-0 then right? exactly..
And if bodybuilding is for faggots thats why i read some of your sorry posts...
And the standings can change still so keep your eyes open til the endd..

It isnt your country it is my country also. Mexico football team and Mexico country are two different things. Again, just because USA lost you are in rage, sad. I dont have to live outside azteca just because USA cant win there. and you making comments without me not knowing a thing about football are as inaccurate as me saying go suck on some baseballs you cincinati reds fan... :cheers:

good come back cocksucker.  if this is your country also, fucking support it. thats what i'm saying you cunt. you aren't clever with what you are saying. you just sound like a little prick kid that you are. you can't even spell, so fucking learn. if you are claiming to be as much of an american as me, you should fucking support the usa over mexico. if this is not the case, fucking leave. we don't need you type here. get the fuck out of here. the fact is you don't know anything about football. plaxico and smiley guy have been owning you on football talk. i know i'm much more blunt than they are, but they do know more about football than you. just a reminder, the present is that the usa are ranked higher in qualifying standings and fifa rankings. gold cups only matter when confed cup is at stake. mexico felt they needed it more than us, because we won the last two gold cups.  we will finish above mexico in the group, and mexico is still in trouble of qualifying.  if honduras and costa rica keep form, mexico will probably have to play against a south american side. that will make if very difficult for them.
