great game played by Mexico! after the mauling they gave to the U.S. in July with their reserve squad you would figure the U.S. would come out stronger. though they scored the first goal of the match it was quite obvious they werent playing their own game but falling into Mexico's. Mexico had many chances through the first and second half of the game, While the U.S.'s chances were very scarce. Until the last ten minutes of the game, i finally saw U.S. making a valiant effort. Giovanni Dos Santos played a great game, provided great energy. As for the second goal scored by Mexico it was bound to happen. They were riding on momentum and when that ball went past that post i knew it was over. best moment of the game was in the 88th minute when Donovan took a corner and the the fans were throwing trash at him.

usa was never going to win this game, so it's not a big deal that they lost anyway

fuck you moby!!!!! well i admit we were outplayed, but that was probably more due to the conditions than the players. smog, altitude, and heat are hard things to deal with for any team. my only real problem with this match was some of the officiating.  why the hell was nery castillo at least shown a yellow card. my personal opinion is that the should have been red carded for what he did to davies when he was on the ground. the player was hurt, and castillo attempted to yank him up by his head. after this, he shoves feilhaber in the throat. this incident should have been a yellow at minimum, but it has all the classifications of a red card. that could have easily changed the game, and that is enough to leave a very sour taste in my mouth from the game.
