Wow, Ramadan is this soon? Exactly how important is it? In 8 days theres a new Irish tv programme starting, a reality TV show about hot girls who want to become Pro models... I dont know much about Islam, would that be on par in terms of importance? Coz im really looking forward to this show

it's a traditional fast. dawn until dusk. no food, liquids (i think), and sex (i think).

Ramadan is a month when, each day, the muslims don't eat, drink, smoke and have sex, from the sunrise to the sunset. And each year, the beginning of Ramadan is moved of 11 days (last year it started on 1st September)
