Very interesting. Was the ref right about the call? Can't be offside if the player was on the edge of the box when the other guy touched it,

That's a really good way to trick your opponent without breaking the rules, the same like when taking a penalty and just passing the ball forward.

that was good , pity it didnt work but the ref has never seen this before of course and the first player should kick it out of the 1/4 circle in the corner (i couldn't see if it was out of the circle)

The ref didn't notice that the ball wall kicked before.. and he thought the other player just ran with it.
