It's a simple question that's been brought to my attention. Would he be a player you'd want on your team if you were Jose Mourinho, Sir Alex, or Pep Guardiola? Probably not.

He's certainly a player who can hold his own on a mid table team - but he's done nothing to convince the world that he is at the top level.

He has proved at Champions League level and International level he can. He scored plenty of goals for Liverpool and does for England.

he's transferring to a team that almost qualified for Europe, at the prime of his career. top class there, i can see he is in high worldwide demand. also chasing his signature was Sunderland.
