@the 17 comment:
there were a few things to which you could have been referring
I was curious as to which one

i'm not really in business of giving advice, and i certainly wasn't going to receive it at 17, but there's a lot of truth in what tj hook is saying. you may not believe it, and it's something that generally plays itself out as you "grow up." in fact,  i may have used this specific response:

Quote
The words I use aren't complex, they just express the points I intend to carry across more effectively than broken English/colloquialisms.
The fact that you even viewed them as 'seemingly complex' reflects badly on you.

300 times between 17 and 18.

anyway, i'm sure you've heard similar shit over and over again. it's just one of those stupidass facts of fucking life things that clears itself up in time.

Intelligence comes from the quality of the words chosen to equal coherent thinking.
This sentence just belied your entire tirade against my supposed incoherence...

The wording is so awkward that it even has multiple meanings.

Off your high horse, my budding businessman.

Actually, I'm gonna side with kingnut on this one: Americans can be pretty dumb
I was at a Writers' Studio in Iowa for a couple weeks this summer and I noticed a general rejection of erudition.
I guess that's a cultural trend...

The words I use aren't complex, they just express the points I intend to carry across more effectively than broken English/colloquialisms.

TJ Hook, you're American (i think), so i do not see why you are siding against the united states when it comes to growing in soccer

Yeah, I was born in Florida, and I am not siding against the United States, I am siding against Totalposer. Not the content of what he was saying ( I don't pay attention half the time), just him in general--the way he posts. If you actually listen to what he says, and get past the dictionary.com word of the day words he just randomly throws in, his input, as a whole, would call for a 'No shit sherlock', or a 'Thank you Dr.Obvious' response.

Since people just look at his seemingly 'complex' vocabulary (which he does not even know what it means--anyone can look in the dictionary), they disregard his whole argument. I have seen this little poser get his booty hole torn apart on numerous occasion by the King Nut.

 :bs:= Totalposer10: Just a condescending tit.

See I didn't really use a computer until highschool forced me to, so forgive my ignorance:

Is dictionary.com some sort of online version of an english dictionary along the lines of the OED, or what?

When have I even argued with kingnut apart from this thread?

If you think the way I express myself is condescending then so be it. But just to clear things up, I don't care what some aspiring businessman and a dude who probably has an idol of both Peter Crouch and Bobby Charlton think of me (partly because I have little to no respect for businesspeople and British soccer in general, but...)

TJ I think you should go read Plath: you'd like her, I think she's right on your level

Plaxico: There's a difference between when one speaks and when one writes
But apart from that, you do have a point

Correct. The common denominator of a cloudy vision is merely a conceptual understanding; Relative to ronaldinho's freekick, it creates a diversity in stigmatism, allowing laws of gravity to be compromised for a delicious freekick to the 90 degree angle between the goal posts, diverting the goal keeper's equilibrium. In conclusion, as you mere mortals call it, the ending resolution to the problem is called a "goal" or as the ancient aztecs and modern day spaniards so ferociously bellow, "GOLACO".
