Not in 50 years will the US have a player as good as Kaka, Messi, Ronaldo, Xavi, Rooney etc....probably not in 100 years...will not happen.

I'm gonna read a little into this:

you're pissed off that america has outstripped Britain, or wherever the fuck you're from in everything else that they do, be it world affairs, sports, or...anything except for cricket to be honest...and therefore you're clinging to the groundless notion that no american (bloody yanks!) could possibly, possibly be as good a soccer player as Messi or Ronaldo, or whoever. I'm sure it also chafes that the USA has been making strides in soccer and is improving at a fairly steady pace, whereas your country remains in limbo as a good team that rarely actually wins anything (1966 pride). You see this kind of sentiment everywhere, actually. It's laughable, really.

I'm not pissed off with the US. For the most part though, the US soccer fans on here don't have a clue. Why have you strated mentioning world affairs? And, please. An American talking about out stripping others on WORLD affairs. Most people in America think Europe and Africa are countries. Why you mention world affairs when trying to big your country up is very strange.

The USA has not been making good strides in soccer. You have the same quality of player you have always had really. Maybe you have slightly more playing in decent leagues but you are not making strides. You guys beat Spain in a friendly tournament and you think you are making strides in "soccer", mannnn. and kingnut, if you look slightly upward and to your left when you read my posts, you'll figure out that I'm Canadian...I don't know if you've been to Canada but one of our national pastimes is hating on/mocking the USA.

Brazil isn't in limbo because they win tournaments, for example.

Also, about the world affairs thing, the USA has fucked up a great deal. But are they or are they not more powerful/influential than any other country? Also, I love how every argumentative technique you use is in reality a massive logical flaw (see laws of informal...and even formal, for that matter...logic). I think I see 4 hasty generalizations, a faulty analogy, and a problematical premise in your last post alone. It's almost impressive how you managed to squeeze that many flaws into a few lines.
