Animal? Yeah he was. But you have to admit Iraq was in a much better condition when he was in charge people where not being murdered on the streets like this. The US occupation has only sparked lawlessness and ethnic rivalries both didn't really exist under Saddam. Now the US has sparked a civil war even if they do pull out, Iraq will still be a mess. They make him out to be an animal, he was the same dictator the US used to fight proxy wars against Iran.

America are backing Mubarak in Egypt and Musharaf in Pakistan and all over the world there are dictators with no ''democratic elections'' who usually take out their rivals. Where the the world police??? People need to understand it wasn't about Saddam, because if it was than US would be fighting wars all over the world. The most brutal dictators where the Us backed.

Heres a few dictators the CIA and other US agencies has backed in the passed. Notice all the mass murderers? and how most of them where never punished for their crimes.

Saddam Hussein killed innocent people. We don't even know half of it here. He's killed people for no good reason. And this was not done just a few times, he's done it to hundreds, probably thousands of people. The only reason he remained in charge was because people feared him. That's not what you want. Most people wanted him out of there, but were too afraid to speak out. Once he was killed, you could see people were happy. The only ones backing him were extremists who were insane like him.

As far as the post-Saddam era goes, that remains a question mark. I believe the US needs to get out of these and let them run the show. Maybe they can find a way to create a democracy with a new leader. People over there dislike the US for the most part. They won't all of a sudden like the Americans, so I think it's best to get out of there. This hate is something that's passed from one generation to another. Until the current generation over there is gone, things will not change in regard to them liking the US.

I agree with the bold part 100% he was an evil mother fucker. .  I know lots of Iraqi people and everyone of them will tell you they hated him but they will also tell you Iraq was in a much better situation under him than it is now. Of course not everyone hated him because you can't stay win power for that long if everyone hates you. He kept a balance he helped those who supported him and tortured those who opposed him, which is wrong.  But the US didn't go into Iraq to take him out it was an excuse because they could have taken him out long ago. No one really trusts the US government anymore.

The death tolls are raising everyday, your CNNs and Fox news' don't tell you whats really happening on the streets the real figures of civilian casualties. I even reckon the American troops death toll is much higher than they are saying its a big mess. The Us pulls out everyone will turn on the puppets they put in charge. Sad to say but civil war is pretty much unavoidable  :bang:.

and the thing is america went to iraq and afganistan for "weapons of mass destruction" they found 0, we all know they went there for the oil, everything they do is for money... the longer the war goes on the more money they get. They don't seem to really care about there troops, or the loss of lives, its alll about money. The current us government are just as bad as saddam was.

The UN, for once, was right with all the mass destruction investigating. The US wouldn't listen though.
