I was thinking I might as well just save that money and go for longer in the summer to Malta where I can see my relatives.

But on a plane, with hot girls from school and friends on a trip to Spain sounds so tempting.

I'm going to spend this summmer in Spain and France; it's about 25 days for 3,100. It's not including airfare (from new orleans to spain it's about 1,500), but it's including 2 classes, some meals, and housing. So i think that's insanely overpriced for 5 days.

Would the five days include flight days? If so, you'll really only get about 3 days.

Fuck that.

okay but over 2000 euros is extremely expensive for only 5 days in my eyes

it's a flight thing probably

it's expensive, but you certainly can not do that on the cheap

if you go, tell me how it is.  i might be in spain in a year and a half or so

On University exchange? Either way, DO IT. You won't regret it.

But about the money/length of visit issue, I agree with ELITE and Asdkjhdlksjf...save the money for when you're older and have more freedom/can live off as little as possible on a vacation

Lol I'm not sure, but that's probably all expenses, with hotels, food, tours, and whatnot.

I was thinking of getting my parents to pay half.. but I find my idea of going in the Summer a better plan.

Thanks for the help!

I think it's all just for plane rides.. because we're going..

from Canada to Spain
from Spain to Morocco
from Morocco to Canada or maybe stopping somewhere?

That's a lot of plane rides.

Nah I never been to North Africa. Morocco seems the best tho I personally cant stand Egypt, Tunisia would seem too hot for some reason and Algeria would look like France about 73 years ago. If I was to Holiday in Africa I would check out the Islands for the beaches and resorts. Or Kenya and Tanzania for the mountains and Safari. The only thing I can tell you about Morocco is that the food is good.

In keeping this thread alive, I now have a decision to make and am wanting some feedback...

i'm debating on what program i should attend: the first is this summer in Belgium. The cost is 4,700 including airfare, 2 meals, room, 2 classes offered by Loyola, museum passes, and trips to london, paris, and amsterdam. This program lasts from July 9-August 6..so it's a decent month i'd get being in Belgium..

the other program is a semester exchange i'd do in fall 2009, to Madrid. the good thing about this is that i can use my financial aid from here and just apply it to madrid; the cost might be a little higher than going to school here (some 15,000 per semester). this is a much more cultured program..i have the option of living with a family in Spain. I also have the prospect of going to a Madrid game; but all that aside, thed downside is that i'd lose a semester of classes that i need to graduate...

so...what should i do!
