dudes i've done some research. for the male-sports a sport (remember that fs is not yet an official sport) must be performed in at least 4 continents (no problem;)) and in 75 countries (that may be the problem) to become an olympic sport. also when a new sport is added, an older one should be removed.

this makes it almost impossible for freestyle to become olympic, but maybe as a demonstrationsport, just like with teakwondo and triathlon.

maybe if we make a list of countries and try to have at least one example from each country, see if we can reach 75?

does anyone know where a link to the nike chain vid is? This could easily make the list, i know they arent all 'freestylers' but it is still a good bit of proof to show that freestyle exists and can advance.

haha strange i was thinking exactly the same thing it shud be done in in 10-20 years there are so many freestylers

there are Gymnastics events in the Olympics where they play with a ball... its called Rhythmic Gymnastics i think... sure they use their hands, but so do freestylers... so in a way, freestyle is already in the Olympics :P
