I don't know, that's something I'd have to ask them.

Why does everyone make a big deal of this..

Borg you are basically admitting that you are a Manchester United fan because of thier history. You just want the right to brag and shit all over other teams with "your" team's history.

woow that is soo true.

Why does everyone make a big deal of this..

"Man City might be the best team in manchester!" or "man city has a chance to win something this year!"

"no fuck them, they have no history!" or "fuck them, they havn't won the treble!!"

that's why...give the other team a chance, all that nonesense..fuck a treble, get over the history shit. let's see what happens now that united aren't the only ones who can buy big name players..perhaps they do sign ronaldo for big big money

STFU.

Man U IS better than Man City so he can brag all he wants. It's not like he's the bragging type anyways. He's making obvious statements.

Just because you dislike Man U and their tradition of success, don't give you any right to talk down to him. Man U didn't get to where they are because of a filthy rich owner who doesn't even know the game. I appreciate it much more when a team builds its success through youth or managers. Arsenal has done it through youth, not money. Maybe more more fans should look into that direction rather than billionaires.

I'm glad you see the bullshit I go through just for supporting a successful team. Some of you need to grow up.

I'm glad you see the bullshit I go through just for supporting a successful team. Some of you need to grow up.

I need to grow up? If you can't handle the fact that some teams are just handed money in soccer, then you're going to be fucked when you realize that in life, all of your hard work can be overshadowed by someone with a shit load of money who puts in half of your effort. It's the same thing. Don't talk to me about growing up, please...

I know we don't talk much German soccer, but when I see Adi talking about other German teams (as a Munich supporter), I rarely see any down talk; he supports the greatest team in German soccer and he keeps a lot of respect for other teams. The difference, Borg, is that you support oh holy Man United, yet you look at the other teams as if they were roaches. You make sure everyone knows that United is better than they; now, granted, that's part of sport...but from an overseas supporter? I'd at least expect some sort of decent commentary on the matter, not just you mentioning that City has no history. The whole point of this thread is to acknowledge the fact that City may well be on the rise, not that City wants to be the greatest team ever in the "history" of soccer.

to adi..

i enjoy arsenal because of thier youth and because they don't sign big money players. but what everyone needs to accept is that some teams just shit money, and thats that.

Back on topic...

Robinho better play the game of his life vs Chelsea to back all of this City talk anyway...City is doing an awful lot of shit talking....
