Borg PMed me about it so I asked him to post it here so everyone can have an input.

Personally, I'm not a fan of team threads so I wouldn't be a fan of this either. If someone isn't interested in a team, they won't read those news. The questions will come in play, where do we post interesting topics? Let's say Ronaldo gets transfered to Madrid. Does it go into the Man U/Madrid thread or does it get its own thread? This one might be obvious because it would need it's own thread, but other topics with less interest will be tough. Also, many news stories will be ignored because people won't check the team threads or there will simply be too many discussions in the team thread to give a single topic enough coverage.

I personally like to sticky the league topics, then allow people to create their own threads on anything that's happening outside of that. The league threads are good for match reports while new topics can be started for other discussions.

Well what I was thinking is that we have a separate child board for each team, and in the child board there would be Injury threads, News, Fixtures, a topic for each Game, and what not. Sort of like this:



But if we can only get 1 child board and put only team threads in there, then that would be fine too, because I don't think we have even members to do like the photo above.

So what do you guys think now that it is more explained?
