All around the world there is so much England ball licking going on. If Netherlands or lets say France (both better than England Internationally) had failed to make it to a major competition everyone would have been like 'oh they are so shit'. But because its England everyone wants to make excuses and blame the manager or come up with all kinds of theories on what went wrong. In reality England are nothing more than average they have always been. Camon besides a few triumphs in the past what have they done?

The way the media and people portray England is as if they are almost like Brazil but just never play to their potential thats bull. From when you first start watching football you are told England are the best country and Manchester and Liverpool are the best clubs in the world.

Don't get me wrong when I first started following football in 96 I was backing England and Liverpool where one of the 3 teams I supported. But over the years I realized how overrated these fellas are.

Arguably the premier league is the best league in the world, so tell me why are these Premier league teams not winning the Champions league and Uefa cup as often as teams from Seria A and La Liga are? and if England is so good why are they not wining any major competitions?

What make the PL so good is the talented players coming in from all around the world and even then they don't stand much of a chance against other big teams from La Liga and Seria A they play a more superior and technical brand of football  (no matter how boring it may seem to you).

Not disagreeing with the majority of what you said melbourne, but recall the time when Netherlands failed to qualify for the World Cup. People thought less of them but nobody said they were shit. Some made excuses but the reality was they underperformed.
