Glory, Glory Man United!

Should be a great game, can't wait. I think this will have an impact on the Premier League fo sho. Tough week for both these teams because they've got Champion's League fixtures right after.

I did not say they would be winning. I said they would not be losing.

Nothing gets past you. Karma. ;)

By that I meant whoever loses this, will probably try even harder to win the Premier League, cause who wants to lose two things to the same team? Just like last year, United won the Premier League, but Chelsea tried their best to win the FA Cup.

Whoever loses(lost) this (Arsenal) will only come back to Old Trafford in the league angry. (Hopefully). United better watch thier backs in that game. If Arsenal would have won this game, then United would have the anger in the league meeting. Also, Chelsea is cruising on thier way to the FA Cup final. Don't count them out. In fact, they are only 3 points behind United, who travel to Stamford Bridge. Don't count them out. A lot of shit is going to unfold between United and Chelsea. Arsenal's main focus is the league and the Champions League, but even more so, the league. United is prone to slip up against average teams, and they have tricky games against Newcastle and Villa left. So, as I said before, this game is just to make United feel better.

4-0!!

Both of Arsenal's league cup runs end with routings.

4-0

Time will tell. You don't want to speak too soon. Arsenal will come back angry ofcourse, and United and Chelsea will battle it out, but don't think this game won't give United any confidence, and hunger, cause it will, United want to rip Arsenal to shreds. United want to rip Chelsea to shreds and vice-versa. All I'm saying is, this gives United tons of confidence, and a win in Lyon will too. Don't count us out either.

EDIT: What do you mean end with routings?

Tottenham 5-1 Arsenal CC

United 4-0 Arsenal FAC

Yeah, United do want to rip Arsenal to shreds, but they have to beat other teams to do so. They are struggling in the league. We shall see indeed. This is the best end of the season in a while though...a "3 horse race".

Oh right I understand.

Yeah, very cool season. So many different outcomes can happen. I'm just curious to see if Arsenal can come back here and beat us next time..

Doesn't matter. A loss (being that both teams win out until the meeting) means that Arsenal is 2 points ahead. I'm just being optimistic here

I'm off. Real is on.

Also to point out, United is at a full defense. This makes all of the difference in this game and you know it. Arsenal is using Traore, Toure, Hoyte, and Lehman. Toure has been out in Africa for a month, as was Eboue.

Also to point out -> Gary Neville.

Hahaha at Liverfool!! Benitez sounds like a broken record; "we had chances, we were controlling the game, we had chances, now we need to focus on the next game, we had chances" :nopity:

Gary Neville  has not featured this year, and probably will not. He is not part of the current defensive set up.

I don't care who Arsenal was missing, 4-0 is just too much. Man U was also missing some players. I can understand 2-0, but 4-0 is way too much. They fell apart. The least you can say is that it was a poor/crap performance. Making excuses is not good enough.

I can't believe Liverpool lost. Fire Benitez please... he's not doing it anymore for them. That's the thing with managers like him, they'll lose and draw games with poor teams but do OK against good ones. That will not win you the title. You may do well in the CL because you play less games and you can grind out results, but when you play 38 games in the league, you will crack.

In Benitez's system, there is simply not enough room for creativity to break down these average and poor teams. When they pack the box and defend with 11 players, Liverpool is not creative enough to break down those teams.

I say SACK BENITEZ!

It was a poor game, I'm not going to say it was not. Arsenal was playing with two strikers who cannot cut it on thier own. Played with terribly shakey outside backs in defense, and an unsettled Toure and Eboue coming back from Ghana. There was no chemistry, no flow, no Arsenal. No Flamini in the game to hold down the midfield and allow Cesc to move forward. Gilberto has been kept out of the team by Flamini, and his form is extremely poor. Arsenal played a poor game. I don't expect the next encounter to be a thrashing, however.
