Only Pirlo and Diamanti played well.
Pirlo has been special this tournament. As I said in another thread, he must've found the fountain of youth. Definitely one of the best players of the tournament so far.
Germany will destroy them, no doubt.
I highly doubt this. Italy is too organized for Germany to destroy them. Germany can possess the ball, but their primary strength is on the counter. Italy is solid in the middle and keeps it's shape defensively. Germany will have a tough time breaking them down.
Historically, Germany has always struggled with the Italians.
I think it will be a tough match... much tougher than you think.
