Hi everyone!
I'm just wondering if the Monta Ball is as good as it seems (i've seen that they use it in competitions and stuff). Currently I'm just using a old bad ball (i'm new to freestyling) but is it worth buying a Monta Ball?

Thanks guys!
The only competition Monta balls are used for is RBSS and that's due to the unfortunate fact that RB have a contract with them. I'm pretty sure once the contract's over, they'll be looking for other options due to the large amount of complaints about the ball quality.

Ok, I've been thinking about a matchball too, but arn't those very expensive?

(sorry for my english)
Look at it this way: if you take care of it, a matchball will last you at least 2 years, now think about how many less expensive balls would you go through in that period.

On top of that, you can always find older matchball models online or in outlet stores on sale or on sites like ebay for less than they cost in stores. For example, on ebay you can get the Tango 12 for 70€.

True. My birthday is coming up soon so... UNLIMITED BUDGET! XD
Problem solved.

Thanks for the advice guys!
I think i will settle for a matchboll then.
And thanks Adi, I'll probably continue to be active since you all were so nice to me even though I'm really new to this sport.
See you all!

I have monta. I feel it bad,and I'm not the only one as I can see.
Seeing that you are new to freestyle I wouldn't go for matchballs(which are expensive,as you said),I'd rather buying some "normal" adidas/nike balls that you see in sport shops

Correction: it rockED, past tense. The original Monta was one of the best balls, if not the best I ever had, but the balls they have been making for the last 3 years are a complete waste of money.

Zef, have you even tried the new balls? I think you're still in 2007 on this subject and see Monta as something spectacular on the FS scene, when in fact, those days are far gone...
