I don’t like the idea of - “Anything can be incorportated into freestyle”. I think freestyle football will lose it’s identity if it’s like that.

In a breakdance battle you would never see a guy doing ballet or a ballroom dance or a salsa dance. Because breakdance has developed it’s own identity, culture and style. This makes it unique and special. I think freestyle football must be separated from basketball, dancing etc and have it’s own identity. Or it will look nothing different to a circus full of everything.

If hands are allowed then any basketball freestyler could pick up a football, do amazing hand tricks and call himself a football freestyler.

Anwyay it looks like he removed the hand tutorials from the website now. The site was good before but it is even better now in my opinion.

many do
a lot of people is doing like this? well...EPIC FAIL

But since none of you actually like FOOTBALL, why don't you just call it freestyle?

yes i do, and bboying isn't as he explained, for example they're having big problems with judging just because there's so many different styles so they dunno how to judge it.. Bboys are using moves from many others dances, just the way they perform it makes it look like bboy move

that doesn't have anything to do with this. as figured out well in an earlier discussion, a freestyle footballer would be a footballer doing some freestyle trick, while a football freestyler is somebody doing freestyle with a football. so either way it's justified to add football to freestyle.

and it's also wrong that nobody likes football, i play a lot of football, it's just that most freestylers just don't want to be associated with footballers.

yes some moves are the same as in other dances but the moves do not move completely away from the bboy style. The moves can still be clearly identified with bboying. There are certain moves which can never be part of bboying.

Can u give an example of another style of dance done by bboys? It will surely be a move that can be identified with both styles, no problem.

Some moves in basketball freestyle and football freestyle are the same too. Like tricks with shoulders and neck, but very few moves.

But some basketball tricks also can never be football freestyle. Which are the hand tricks.
forget Ronaldinho....only one deserves the -inho suffix......Jabarinho!!!!

Exactly. Retarded.
