ok well, freestyle will never be in the olympics lol, it just isnt one of those "types" of sports.

But, in my country for example (Northern Ireland) the scene is acctually improving, this time last year i was pretty much the only one, and now we have 5. In the south, its still pretty active. i can never see it really dying, but instead i think it will grow and grow

I don't know about the rest of England, but near me, more freestylers have begun, a couple of people from Birmingham have got into contact with me about freestyle. They've begun now and, although they're at a very low level, that's how everybody starts, they could become decent freestylers.

It's a lot easier to track how many people stop freestyling than people who begin. When people quit, they make it public (by a final video, a post on here or Facebook, etc) but obviously freestylers starting out don't necessarily make this announcement.

I'm 40, I'm not going to start football freestyle although I can just about pull off an atw.  If people outside of 'the community' weren't interested none of you would ever do an LP.

Nice point. :great:
