1. How is it freestyle if you're restricting people and telling them what to do and what not to?
2. There are no rules in battles (apart from interfering in your opponent's performance) & certainly no guidelines on how one should act during a battle.
A competition without rules would be total chaos, it doesn't take a genius to figure that one out.
And as for the rules being discussed I believe that the competition will be a lot better of with them than it would be without them.
As for rules one and two I think they should only be relevant for the battle part of the competition. During the competition where you compete with your routine I think using other objects than just the ball and also using your hands can benefit the viewing experience for not only non freestylers but also the freestylers. Plus the whole object element is one that hasn't been experimented with a lot and I think there's much more to be done there.
