really hardcore indeed, but most of what i've seen in here i didn't like.. maybe it's a matter of taste but i think that things like style and fluency and "how relaxed it looks" should matter very much in this sport.. it's like many other sports like rithmic gymnastics, sky jumping, where style maters when it comes to the marks/notes received from the judges.

Freaking insane battles, especially lower wise. MP is a freaking beast, so many hardcore long combos (notice that "hardcore" and "long" isn't usually going together when it comes to competition and LPs) and it doesn't even seem like he knows any bit of fatigue.
But these videos just show what I've fear, but never to confirm directly in videos: the people don't like hardcore lowers as much as other tricks. During MP's insane combos I can hear the song in the background perfectly (simply just no cheering!) while when ARS did some soles in the 2nd battle, damn did the people clap!

Just because russian fsers like Ars doing sits thats why the are clapping lol

I really want to add some things... i rushed a bit with my first comment at this topic...

what level freestyle has reached... amazing ! After watching this championship, i say artes is my favorite russian freestyler. his style on airmoves is the best in russia, and he also has very good upper and sitdown, and has some "special tricks" so to speak like the both sole standing juggling. About the final - there shouldn't have been any extra round in the end. from the first rounds artes should have won because mp dropped a lot.. but in the end that mp combo was insane
