how strict is the no hands rule? For spinning tricks only? What about that eclipse variation trick where you put the ball between your hand and your foot and jump over the ball? And what is the penalty for using your hands too much? A points deduction or something? :17:

The hand rule will be quite strict, but we will leave also the judges appreciation whether they feel they have to deduct points or not.
We just want the League not mix between football and basketball and really keep the hands for very specific tricks. If the hand is used for recovery or used too much during teh battle, it will be penalized.
Of course the rule will get clearer when the events start and we can somehow have a feedback from judges and from the 1st events experiment.

I just hope the invited frestylers for the conferences arent the same boring guys that have been around for ages.. need to bring fresh freestylers to the table, the old school have been overtaken in level imo

For now, its only for Japan Series.
We will give 1 of these to each Top 16 participant, after they qualify at the Video Competition running now.
They will have the balls 15 days before the event to train.
