Inter found Robben out. Really good player but if Ribery and him both on top of game then Ribery is superior.

Robben was the most active and threatening player in the game.  Bayern didn't create much but at least Robben was still central to the few things they did right.

Switzerland sat in and got lucky they didn't get ripped into shreds.  Play them again and they'll lose 3-0.

Worst World Cup for English fans... face it.  Everyone else was passionate about and most people enjoyed everything apart from the Vuvuzelas.

How was Robben threatening whatsoever in that Champs League game? Just because he saw a bit of the ball doesn't mean anything.

Here we go again...bring England into it. The World Cup was extrememly poor. A player who looked average at best in the Champs League got top goalscorer! None of the best players in the world played well. Every team played 4-2-3-1 and killed the game. Boring, no passion...poor poor poor World Cup.

England were an embarassment. Vuvuzelas I didn't care about. Level of World Cup poor though.

Robben is really good, top player. All I am saying though is if Ribery and Robben are both on top form I would pick Ribery over Robben. He is less one dimensional

The football being played at international tournaments will never be as good as at club level.  A mid table German side can beat most World Cup teams... it's just the organization and familiarity of playing with one another.

But it's not about that... it's about the excitement and general passion associated with the World Cup.  I'll choose any World Cup or Euro over any Champions League or Cup.

Not sure about the mid table German shout.

There wasn't any passion though, Adi. Thats the point. Not only has the World Cup dropped in footballing ability...players don't care anymore. Messi, Ronaldo, Rooney...bothered

Is that why Messi was crying like a little baby after their loss?

Rooney wasn't interested because your fans pissed him right off.

I find it funny how all the players that were in the Nike WC commercial had fairly piss-level world cups. And then the whole shitstorm with Rooney that can finally settle now.

Nike can predict the future  :undecided:
"Aim to master the particular movement, whatever it may be, by refining and refining until no one but yourself can tell the difference between a movement you are satisfied with and one you know to be imperfect."

All Messi was thinking about during the World Cup was I cant wait until I go back to playing for my club side so I can be amongst a proper team. Look at sides who made it far, Holland, Germany, Uruguay...a lot of players who appreciate playing for their country. Spain are the only exception. France have an abunance of quality players but could not be arsed. England, Brazil, Portugal..all the same.
